This Sat & Sun, Feb
5-6 and the following weekend the 12-13 of Feb., will
feature Apple's Demo Day's touting Apple's Best selling
consumer portable computer the iBook along with the
wireless option Airport, in CompUSA's, Sears and
independent computer stores around the
country.
"The Apple Demo Days will
feature Macintosh experts and demo stations of the iBook
and Airport at many Mac retail locations. If you have a
local Apple retailer joining in 'Apple Demo Days', Apple
suggests you call to make sure what will be featured.
Apple experts will be in stores from 10 am to 4 pm on
Saturdays and 11 am to 5 pm on Sundays. A list of places
is available on Apple's Site."

may also host special events &emdash; check with your
local dealer."
*Hopefully all
the stores and demo reps will have received and installed
the Airport
1.1 software update.
Last weekend
I went in my local CompUSA and the lone iBook had
crashed and was missing a few keys, Hopefully that will
be fixed ! Anyway I will be stopping down at CompUSA in
Manchester, CT on Sun and popping in the following
weekend. This should be a great opportunity for those of
use who haven't seen Airport work upclose or at all ! I'm
also assuming that plenty of Airport Base Stations will
be in stock at the demo stores as well .
